It's been awhile since we've posted something. With Chris getting a new job (Yay!) and the planning our California trip, I've been lacking on the blog. But what better way to come back with a Disney blog! If you didn't know, Chris and I are obsessed with Disney. It truly is the happiest place on earth. Here are a few pictures of Day 1 at Disneyland. Hope you guys enjoy!
Till Next Time, The Young Pilgrims
Many of you asked where did we stay for my birthday and most of you thought it was a hotel, but it was actually an Airbnb home! This is our second time staying in an airbnb home and hands down I find this way better than a hotel. You can pick any type of home that fits best for you. Whether it's modern or artistic, there is plenty to choose from. Here are a few pictures we snapped during our stay.
Studio Azul is a mixture of a New York artist's loft with down-home funky Austin style. It's definitley instagram worthy if you're wondering. ha!
Stuido Azul can hold up to 4-8 guests. It has 1 queen size bed, 1 full size bed, and the couch also is a pull out bed.
Last but not least, the backyard was our favorite! Christina (the host) has a gorgeous backyard that over looks a small creek. There is so much you can do in her magical backyard from taking pictures, eating S'mores around her little outside furnace or canoeing!
Till next time, The Young Pilgrims!
Hello! Welcome to our first blog post! I hope you guys like our new updated website. It's been a long time coming and having a second baby sure does throw you off course. But don't worry Chris and I are still alive and we got this under control!
Now lets get straight to the blog! A few weeks ago we took a much needed trip to Austin, Texas. I know what your thinking.."Why would you take TWO kids to Austin to relax?" Well, Folks, There is actually a lot of kid friendly areas your babes can have fun!
EAST AUSTIN SUCCULENTS
First stop we made in Austin was the East Austin Succulents! This place is a must see and all the plants are not too expensive! We picked up two little baby succulents for keep sakes. (The plants are still alive if you're wondering)
Where did we stay?
I've been wanting to try Airbnb for the longest time and I got lucky finding this beauty! Here is the link to view our Loft! Mary was such a great host! She made checking in super easy and she's super close to every trendy spot we wanted to visit. (whoop whoop). If you're looking to try something new rather than a hotel.
